Hidden Hispanics
Here's an article where Sammy Sosa claims that Albert Pujols should have been MVP. What I found interesting was this tangential blurb:

"This homecoming is special for Sosa because baseball commissioner Bud Selig and other Cubs players will hold a celebration Saturday to honor Sosa for becoming the first Hispanic player to reach 500 homers."

That's all well and good, but it's forgetting something. Ted Williams has Mexican blood on his mother's side of the family. By ancestry, he's as Mexican as Tiger Woods is African.

Here's a good article from The Boston Globe about that aspect of Ted's life.

... and of course, there's Reggie Jackson.
